On which ball to play ?
- Front foot defense shot can be played on good length balls within line of stumps and further on 4/5th stump line. length can very from batsmen to batsmen according to their reach.
Key Ponits :-
- Front foot should be taken out inside line of the ball
- weight should be transfered on front foot by lifting backfoot heel while keeping backfoot toe placed there on ground
- backfoot should be straight and braised ( not bent )
- Play the ball under head and besides front foot and maintain figure 9 with arms and bat
- Top hand grip should be firm while defending ball
Check List:-
- Top hand grip not firm
- No transfer of body weight
- Back foot knee Bent
- Distorted figure of “9”
TIP :- Elbow and shoulder have to be in line to avoid botom hand taking over
