Run Up

Ideal Run Up:-
  • Bowler should run Towards Target ( batsmen ) in straight corridor or in staright line
  • Bowlers Arm & Hand movement should be Parallel to the target line, elbows should bent at 90 Degree pump the elbows straight back
  • Stride Buildup- Body should be leaned forward with short steps initially building into longer steps.
  • A balanced Running stride prior to take of to get good momentum.
Check List:-
  • Angle of run up
  • Elbows out
  • Arm Swing & shoulder rotation
  • Both hands on ball
  • Shoulders Side on too early
